Who we truly are

Most people are not consciously aware of who they are and yet many of us believe we do know who we are not realizing that is not who we think we are. The sad reality of it all is that many of us will remain unconsciously aware of this fact because we are all trapped within our own ego identification and we think that is who we are. And if you don't find out who you are in this life time reincarnation won't help you in your next life if you still don't know who you are. Therefore, before we can advance spiritually we must become aware of our spiritual dimension that deeper part of ourselves that is beyond our personality or that self made me.

Can you sense that hidden part of yourself that cries out to you and for that brief moment you pay attention to it and then the chatter of the mind come in drowning out the cries of your inner self. And while it had your full attention for that brief moment what did you sense was it something that you could feel or put a name to or was it more of a knowing that came from deep within you.

Knowing who you are has nothing to do with all the thoughts that you have about yourself it come from somewhere deeper within you. Many of us make the mistake of thinking that who we are is outside of yourselves. Most of us if asked would say "yes of course l know myself" and you start by telling others your name, your occupation, your life story and what ever else you may think is important. This is because we get our sense of self from what we perceive is important to us.

Many things are important in your life it matter if you are rich or poor or healthy or not health it matters whether you are educated or not educated and yes these things are important for it does make a difference in the quality of one life, but it is not who you are it goes much deeper than that.

You say l need more time because "l want to get know myself" or "find myself" what is it that you want to know or lost that you need time for. Yes, there are many things that we need time: going to work, learning a new skill, making supper, doctor's appointments, and what ever else that we fill our days up with that requires time. However, time is unless when it comes to knowing oneself which is self realization that hidden part of us that is beyond your physical form.

Many of us are unaware of what it is that we are looking for when it comes to knowing ourselves so we look to others to give us our sense of identity not realizing that it is only a small part of who we are. No body can tell you who you are and yet we all do it without realizing that is not who they are. Someone will say something about you and you think yes that me you say and yes it may be you or it may not be you, but it is only an opinion someone else's concepts of what they think and nothing more. So if you are looking for yourself through others you will not find it for a belief or an idea is not required in find the true you.

All that is required in knowing who we are is knowing within ourselves that awareness that happens before thought takes form. You could call it joy or being that aliveness that comes with knowing that you are all that already for there is nothing to add or take away. You are the one life pure consciousness it self and it is through this realization that you will begin to know the miracle that you truly are.

Our Essence

Who am I? A lot of us have asked this question without really finding any answers. One may argue that we all know that we all exist, but many of us don't know our essence. Many of us think that we are our bodies or our emotions because it is something that we can see or feel within ourselves and of course there those people that believe [ "I think, therefore I exist"] but we all know it goes much deeper than what we see on the surface.

The difficulty in finding our true essence is that many of us look for it in the wrong places we think it is outside of ourselves in our everyday life situations and even to those that think they know where to look may not realize what it is that he/she is looking for. Our essence is not a thought or an idea we have about ourselves nor it is an self-image, but in fact this part of us is self-made by our own life experinces.

Our true natural essence is like an energy most of us imagine it to be a mysterious reality or a force, but it is only mystery to those who don't recognize it, but for those that do it is as clear as looking up at a bright star on a clear night. Sometimes we often think there is a connection between our visions and dreams for we are deeply touched by our imagines that we see within our own minds often giving us a feeling of being blessed. In fact, by going beyond the experince it self we often find our true essence which is the truth that is in us.

Now let have a look at our insights or intutions a lot of the time they can give us information and understanding about the reality of our minds, emotions or our personalities they may help to lead us to our essence for sometimes it can lead us to the truth. Our intutions can be very powerful, exhilarating, even liberating sometimes we get a deeper feeling of knowing something, but don't know how we got the knowledge, we can not explain to ourselves how we know, and sometimes it could be something new. So we could say that intutions opens up a part of the mind that we don't normally use giving us a feeling of mystery and wonder, but our intutions or insights are still not our essence. Essence is more.

Many people often look for who they are through love and devotion, assuming that their true essence is through some kind of an emotion state often searching for that wonderful feeling of joy and blissfulness. This can be misleading because it is more of an experince than an feeling regardless of how beautiful, blissful, or how deep are feeling are they are not our essence. Essence is on a different dimension of our experince. So we could say that a person that believes that his positive emotions to be his/her true self is really missing the truth for this very search prevents us from realizing our true essence. A especially for those that are involved with new age or when people think they are perusing "spiritual development" often thinking enlightenment is essence.

If essence is not our intutions, insights, emotions, mind, or body, when what is it? It is something more wonderful and meaningful than anyone could imagine and it is the only thing that will completely fulfill our heart with joy giving us peace of mind. It truths are hidden because of it likelihood most of don't see it or recognize it. This is because it is hidden within us yet it is not part of it nature to hide it self from us. We just can't imagine that there another reality that is not mental, emotional or physical within ourselves. Many of us are blinded by our life situations which will cause us to ignore our essence, our true nature and many of us will remain thirsty and discontinued until we learn to tap into our hidden secrets of who we are. So the answer to the question who am I it is the only thing that is in us that is aware of it own existence. There's nothing to add or subtract to who we are for we are life in it self just like the very nature of the sun and it's light. However, to understand our essence one has to understand the presence, as they are one of the same.

The Light

Have you ever wondered what is going to happen to you after you die? Do you believe you have a soul which came from somewhere else and that you will return there after your life here on earth has ended? On the other hand, are you one of these people that believe it is just wishful thinking because we are afraid of the unknown or death itself? You may find this hard to believe, but human beings are the only creatures on earth, that must repress the fear of death in order to lead normal lives. Yet within each of us is our biological clock which never lets us forget just how short our life really is here on earth. As we grow older, the presence of death rises in our consciousness. It doesn't matter who you are even religious people fear death and they too think it is the end of their life. Our greatest fear of death is our thoughts about nothingness and l must say it is hard to believe that death bring the end to all association with all humans or does it.

One might think that when we die that all our earthly achievements may seem for nothing and if death were the end of everything about us, then life indeed would be meaningless. However for most of us the true meaning to the mystery of life after death remains locked within the spiritual realms and this is because we have a built-in amnesia about our identity, which on a conscious level aids in the merging of the soul and human brain. There are many people who want to know more about what really happens to them, and what is in store for them when they leave earth. There are people all over the world that have near death experiences, and see themselves floating over their body and they say get this feeling of lightness, and yet they still believe they are still alive, and are shocked of seeing themselves not alive.

Some younger souls may take a little longer to understand the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. We all experience a sense of freedom and brightness for some the brightness surrounds them the moment they leave earth and for others they observe the brightness farther away from where they are been drawn to this is often referred to the tunnel effect and has become well known to all walks of life. Contrary to what some people believe souls often have little interest in what happens to their bodies once they leave earth. This is not because their lack of sympathy over personal situations and the people they leave behind on earth, but more of an acknowledgement that their life on earth has ended. They just have a desire to hurry on their way home to the spirit world.

However, there are other souls who do like stick around over the place where they died for a few earth days and it is usually until after their funerals. A few days on earth is like a few minutes in the spirit realms as time is something that only used on earth. There is a variety of motivations for the lingering soul. For instance someone who has being murdered or killed unexpectedly in a accident often does not want to leave right away. These souls are frequently bewilder or angry the hovering soul syndrome is particularly true of deaths with young people.

I believe dying people are given access to a supreme knowledge of eternal consciousness and this frequently shows in their faces. Many people realize something universal is out there waiting and it will be good. People associate death as losing our life force, when actually the opposite is true. We forfeit our body in death, but our eternal life energy unities with the forces of a divine soul. Death is not the end of life but the beginning of life.
